far breton

Far breton

Breton far, easy and greedy.

Far Breton is one of the famous desserts of Brittany and it was so good that I tested the recipe.

Traditionally, This dessert is eaten plain but variations with apples and prunes have evolved this cake.

far breton

I chose the prune version because I have one of my daughters who loves it and I wanted to please her.

Far Breton reminds me of flan but a little denser and a little thicker than clafoutis.

But that doesn’t take away from its deliciousness..

far breton

To tell you everything, we enjoyed ourselves, the prunes were cooked properly and held together and did not collapse to the bottom of the mold.

far breton

If you are not a big fan of Far Breton, je vous propose des recettes de clafoutis 🙂

clafoutis with coconut milk and prunes; apple clafoutis, clafoutis nectarines.
