The cookies are cute and so good, so when they are homemade it’s even better.

A good shortbread filled with chocolate is delicious.

You just need to add a little hazelnut and there you have it., something terribly delicious.

The recipe is really very easy and I advise you to use a good spread containing hazelnut pieces.

I think these cookies can be stored 2 days if you place them in a properly closed box, mais je n’ai pas eu l’occasion de le tester…

Easy chocolate shortbread cookie recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 œuf + 1 Egg yolk
  • 80g de sucre en poudre
  • 100g de beurre ramolli
  • 200g de farine
  • 1 half teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla flavor
  • chocolate hazelnut spread with hazelnut pieces
Instructions
  1. Whisk the egg with the powdered sugar and the vanilla flavoring.
  2. Ajouter le beurre et mélanger.
  3. Pour in the flour and baking powder and mix everything together to obtain a ball of dough.
  4. Film the dough and place it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  5. Take a ball of dough, that you will not spread too thinly.
  6. Add hazelnut chocolate and fold the dough over to envelop the chocolate.
  7. Cut with a circle or a glass to have a very round shortbread.
  8. Place the cookie on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  9. Continue until the dough is used up.
  10. Brush the shortbread cookies with egg yolk and bake for 15 minutes à 180°C.
